[In Rig Veda III:34:9 Indra killed the Dasyus (dark skinned natives) and "gave protection to the Aryan color." Not only did the Aryans shamelessly , pray for booty in war but they based their militarily won supremacy on

the lightness of their skin color compared to the dark colors of the native

Dasyus. They arrogantly proclaim, "Let those who have no weapons suffer sorrow." (Rig

Veda IV:5:14.)]

"Renowned is he when conquering and when slaying:

'tis he who wins cattle in the combat.When Indra hardens his indignation all that is fixed and all that moves fear him. Indra has won all kine, all gold, all horses, - Maghavan, he who breaks forts in pieces;" --Rig Veda IV:17:10-11.

Indra is praised for killing thousands of the abject tribes of Dasas

with his arrow and taking great vengeance with "murdering weapons." (Rig

Veda IV:28:3-4) One hymn mentions sending thirty thousand Dasas "to

slumber" and another hymn sixty thousand slain. A hymn dedicated to the

weapons of war (Rig Veda VI:75) refers to a warrior "armed with mail,"

using a bow to win cattle and subdue all regions, "upstanding in the car

the skillful charioteer guides his strong horses on whithersoe'er he

will." The arrows had iron mouths and shafts "with venom smeared" that

"not one be left alive." Hymn VII:83 begins, "Looking to you and your

alliance, O ye men, armed with broad axes they went forward, fain for

spoil. Ye smote and slew his Dasa and his Aryan enemies."

Only occasionally did the authors of these hymns look to their own sins.

"Free us from sins committed by our fathers, from those wherein we have ourselves offended.

O king, loose, like a thief who feeds the cattle,as from the cord a calf, set free Vasishtha.

helped win the Aryan victory:

 "He, much invoked, hath slain Dasyus and Simyus, after his wont, and laid them low with arrows.The mighty thunderer with his fair-complexioned friends won the land, the sunlight, and the waters." --Rig Veda I:100:18.

 Control of the waters was essential for agricultural wealth. Indra is

praised for crushing the godless races and breaking down their forts.

(Rig Veda I:174) [Again, the "tolerant" & "holy" scriptures speak.]

In the tenth and last book of the Rig Veda some new themes are explored,

but the Dasyus are still condemned for being "riteless, void of sense,

inhuman, keeping alien laws," and Indra still urges the heroes to slay the enemies; his "hand is prompt to rend and burn, O hero thunder-armed: as thou with thy companions did destroy the whole of Sushna's brood."(Rig Veda X:22)

Obviously, the "myth" that the current "evils" of the Hindu system such as the caste system, etc. are all corruptions of later Hindus & all the clean values of the ancient Hindus illustrated in the Vedas were much purer, peaceful & more spiritual...........

RIGHT.....WHATEVER.

Moreover, as one can see, Hitler's view of the Aryans & choice of the swas-tika

symbol was not entirely inappropriate for his genocidic tendencies.

A Letter from a muslim girl to her christian parents

Hello Mami and Papi,

I don't know how else to approach you in order to explain my
reasoning behind my life changing decision and have you listen and
understand at the same time.

Since I can long remember I have not be a strong believer of
Christianity, there was a lot that did not make sense to me, for
example, why I have to beg for forgiveness to a priest? Why I have to
pray to saints and not straight to God, why is Jesus the SON of God,
why are their SOO many versions of the bible?

Prior to the beginning of my sophomore semester (September 2005) my
curiosity took its place and I went ahead and began doing some
research. This research of course was mild, but when Ramadan hit in
October of 2005 I observed the way my Muslim friends used to worship
Allah (God) and how they were so true to their religion, it was
beautiful...

The religion became a fascination to me, and I truly
wanted to know more. I purchased a few books in the UK and read some
pamphlets on the religion. I did not make any decisions but I
continued to read and become more familiar to Islam.

Islam began making sense to me, the idea that we pray only to Allah,
that we ask Allah for help and for forgive us, how a book (the Quran)
that was written thousands of years ago remains unchanged as of today
(there are different translations but no different versions) . Also
how a book that was written years ago managed to explain scientific
situations that was only discovered by man kind only a couple of year
ago. Or how the Quran has managed to explains how babies develop in
the womb? How would anyone thousands of years ago know this and in
such detail? Especially since scientist discovered the explanation of
these situations less that 100 years ago?? How can we explain those
wonders of the book? Also how can I deny the holy book when it has
been so clear in explaining advanced technology, how the day turns
into the night, the creation of human beings by water (as we know
scientifically to be known that we came from cells) layers of heaven
(which we describe now in scientific terms as the atmospheric
levels?). Furthermore, the beginning of the universe and the movement
of tectonic plates (there are numerous other examples of the science
behind the Quran).

What also has touched me is that Islam believes in
ALL THE PROPHETS - JESUS MOSES DAVID ABRAHAM AND MOHAMMAD (pbuh) they
all coexist in he Quran, the Quran also tells us that we must respect
ALL religions. Mami and Papi, I can not explain how many times I have
made my self clear to you of what I believed in, I could not have
given myself away anymore! Every time I spoke hours and hours on end
about Islam, and how I knew so much.

Also I began of interacting more with Muslim friends; I felt that
they would be able to give me a clear explanation of Islam.

Also
Islam played a major part in self respect, and it helped my
appreciate my self more, and realize that I should stay away from
harmful situation such as drinking, smoking, going out with people
that only meant trouble. I told you what my friends were like, they
were heading the wrong direction, and I did not want to be in that
direction and believing in Islam made it easier for me to walk away
from the powers of shayten and do better.

Also Islam was and has been
the reason for my success in school. I have placed my mind in my
studies instead of going out all the time as my old friends did, and
trust me you would not like me to be like them, because if I had been
than you would have every single reason to think I was a bad person,
that I was irresponsible and that I was a disgrace to the family.
After almost one year of studying Islam I had no doubt in my mind
that it was not the right religion.

I was prepared to become a Sunni
Muslim. In early June 2006 I attended the mosque in Westbury NY to
ask further questions about Islam and after speaking to a sister and
the imam of the mosque I knew that it was time to make the right
decision. I did shahada around 2 weeks later which is the Islamic
creed; it means to testify or to bear witness in Arabic, the
declaration of the belief. I stated in front of 80- 100 Muslims "ash
hadu anla ilaha illallah, wa ash hadu anla Mohammad roosul Allah"
which translates to "I believe in one and only God and Mohammad is
his messenger" It was such a beautiful experience. I had been
accepted into the Islam. I was welcomed by every single Muslim at the
mosque with open arms, I felt too special, it felt so right, I knew I
had made the best decision in my life, and it was something that was
going to bring positive sides of me. It is so hard to explain the
rush, and the emotional and faith satisfaction that I had at that
moment, but I knew there was something wrong, that I was not able to
celebrate my happiness with the people in my life that I loved the
most, the meant to most to me, and that was you and papi. The moment
was wonderful but not complete. I really wish you could have been as
proud of me as I was for myself.

It hurt so much to think and feel that my biggest challenge would be to openly tell you about me and
Islam, about me and my faith, about me and my happiness. I know that
you both want the best for me, you want me to be happy and you want
me to be responsible, and you want me to be independent and make the
RIGHT decisions. I have done the right decision, and I made it all
by myself, and I read about Islam all by myself, I discovered Islam
in me all by myself, IT WAS ME who made every decision from the point
were I began in the Islamic interest to the point where I am now.

I can't lie to you and tell you I had no influences because how else
would I have been influenced by wanting to know more about Islam?
Well from observing other people. How do we know as humans whether
eating a chocolate cake taste good or not? We taste it, we try others
to compare and then we make a final decision and if we like it we
continue to eat if we don't then we disregard it.

Mami and Papi, I know I might seem weak sometimes in certain
situations, and I know I display signs of vulnerability , but
converting into Islam was decided by me, its hard and it hurts to
think that all this studying, research of Islam and me converting has
been credited to someone else, but at the end of the day the only one
that knows the truth is God and it is to him that I will be standing
in front of on the day of Judgment, and it is him that knows
everything.

I believe in Islam, I believe in God, the only difference between
Christianity and Islam that I don't believe in is that Jesus is the
son of God BUT I DO BELIEVE THAT HE WAS A MESSENGER OF GOD. It is
stated in the Quran that all the prophets were messengers of God,
they all came to spread the news and religion of God, but that they
all came in their own time, and that Mohammad (pbuh) was the last
messenger of God.

I know my word is hard to believe after the incidents these past two
days, but there is nothing more that I can do to prove to both of you
when it comes to the decisions that I made about Islam.

And most importantly I want you both to understand that it is
virtually impossible to explain ALL of my reasoning behind my belief
in Islam, this email is not even 1/100th of it all, I have spent
hours and hours and hours speaking to others about my feeling towards
Islam, and I wish and pray to Allah that one day I will be able to
express everything I feel about Islam with both of you.

I still remain to be the daughter that you had almost 21 years ago, it has
not changed the way I feel about you, you still are the most
important people in my life, I love you both more than anything, I
just have a different belief and its one which will bring you no
shame, it will not physically hurt you, and I will not patronize our
relationship.

1. If scientists have proven that the world will come to an end (Day of Judgement)
what will happen to all the Vedas followers who believe they will be reborn into another life form _on this earth_ ? If there is no more life forms on this earth, what will happen to them ?

2. If the Ancient Egyptians believed that their souls will go to Heaven, and the ancient Egyptians had Scripture centuries before the Vedas, then why do vedas followers claim their scripture is the oldest and therefore reincarnation is the right way ?
3. Low caste members (untouchables) are born into certain families, for example, everyone born into the Juppy family, automatically becomes a untouch able. The woman in the Juppy family, Mrs. Juppy is the aledged door way for bad people in previous lives who did not follow the Vedas to be born through Mrs. Juppy and hence be also a untouchable like the rest of Mrs. Juppy's family members.
If Mrs. Juppy converts to Islam or Budduism which thousands are doing daily in India, what then will happen to the enterance gate for the non-Vedas followers to be reborn into?
If there are no longer any untouchables becuase of either conversion or finacial fortune, then the entire caste system would collapse (as it slowly is doing thanks to the help of humanitary workers.) then there would no longer be a earthly Hell as the Vedas followers imagine, and no longer a reward or punishment, why then are the Vedas gods not maintaining there reward and punishment systems?
Inconclusion, if there are Two doors, (door A) and (door B) the good go to (door A) and the bad go to (door B), what will happen to the bad if (door B) becomes sealed up or has disappeared ?
4. If the Vedas followers desire Unity, why is it that they enforce a system where the their own members are divided into 5 levels where certain levels are not allowed to talk to, eat with, or even Touch Other Vedas followers ?
5. How do Vedas followers claim they desire love and harmony when they think it is Absolute Justice that fellow Vedas followers includeing women and children die daily in India under the current caste system?
6. How is it a punishment to become a animal or a insect or a tree if some people can consider this to be a reward rather than a punishment ? As said before, Insects are born They Fly, they Run, They Mate and they die, is that so bad ?
For example, Ants have the about 200 times their own body weight strength, is it so bad to be that strong and Unified as ants are?
7. How is it a reward to be born into the world as children are screaming and crying and live years before having any comprehension, and then to grow old and to again loose comprehension, where is the reward to be reincarnated into that over and over?
8. Why would God show us the Many stars and galaxsies if we are only limmited to this world over and over?
Why would God Direct our Attension to Heaven if we are only limmited to earth ? Why would God make Heaven so appealing and so Majestic if we are never to leave from being born as earthly creatures over and over?

We should like to point out here that in spite of all these trials in Russia they failed to make their nation belong to one class. In fact there exist in Russia to day three different classes

1 — The upper class which includes the leaders of the communist party, army generals and heads of syndicates, cooperative societies, factories and leading newspapers.

2 - The middle class which includes officials, army officers, engineers and those engaged in education, press and arts.

3 — The lower class which consists of the masses of the population including the industrial and agricultural laborers and junior merchants.

There is a big distinction between these three classes. They differ in their material and moral rights. It may be interesting to note that such distinction between classes is so great that some consider that the upper class in communist Russia is a closed class where no one who does not belong to it can inter it exactly as the Brahma’s class in India.

It should be pointed out that Islam in accepting the existence of classes has formulated many laws and regulations whereby the upper class is responsible for many duties towards the lower class both morally and materially. Again according to Islam, as mentioned before, the whole human society is like one body. In the meantime any person can pass from one class to a higher one irrespective of his color, origin, sect or the way be was brought

up. Thus Islam succeeded in abolishing any grudge or hatred.

between any two classes which may lead to revolution against each other as in communism. In fact the brotherhood between men in Islam is based on the fact that they have the same beliefs and the same moral ideals and not because they all belong to a certain economical system. This, no doubt, makes their brotherhood and consequently their co-operation in building their country and the world at large, more effective and everlasting because it is based on more sound foundations.

The outlook to family life in communism is the eighth aspect in which Islam stands very firm against communism. Karl Marx believed that sexual intercourse between man and woman must be always facilitated. According to him sexual intercourse is something which can be practiced in any way the man or the woman desires. Marx went as far as to declare that the system of marrigge where the wife is not allowed to have sexual intercourse except with her husband is a needless restriction to which man and woman should not be tied. Thus he advocates that every communist man or woman is free to satisfy his or her sexual desire in any way they like.

Needless to say that Islam is quite alien to this immoral principle. Such a principle will lead no doubt to the degeneration of human society. It will also be the biggest blow to family life which will eventually affect the bringing up of the new generation.

Foresighted men and women can see for themselves what will be the outcome of such a nasty system if the world will have a new generation of children who have never known their fathers or mothers. Many scholars of sociology and many social workers attribute the chaos found in many societies and the increase in crimes among their population to the increase in the number of illegal children or the children of broken up families. In the light of these facts we can see for our selves what will be the outcome of the whole world. It will be nothing but a new generation of illegal children. 

In fact Islam had a very elaborate system which regulates the relation between man and woman in a moral way. Legal marriage in Islam is one of its great constitutions and has been encouraged in every way. It has been really very greatly encouraged by the Prophet of Islam. According to him marriage is half the religion. He says "He Who marries fulfills thereby half the obligations of his religion, he should then try to fulfill the other half of his religious obligations". Indeed Islam had a great respect to woman and put her in much higher status than that given her by communism. Full details of this aspect is dealt with in our article "The Status of Women in Islam"

The system of government is the ninth aspect in which Islam differs completely from communism. According to communists the State is essentially dictatorship which is based on force and violence and that it should be in the hands of one class, the working class, In Islam the case is quite different since the system of government is essentially democratic and is not centered in the hands of one class. Islam has, in fact, laid the first foundation of democracy 1400 years ago. It stressed this system very strongly, so much so, that the Prophet of Islam who is a perfect personality and who was guided in all his deeds and actions by revelation and who was a Messenger of God to the whole universe, was directed by Almighty God to consult his people in their worldly matters in order to train them in democratic ways of governing themselves.

It should be also added that in Islam, the ruler is not-like in communism-left entirely to himself in ruling his subject. Every Muslim ruler has to abide by the Islamic principles which specifies very clearly the relation between the ruler and those who are ruled and which are explained and planned by the Muslim public opinion. No Muslim is asked to obey a ruler who does not abide by the Islamic principles. 

It is very interesting to note the great saying of Prophet Muhammad in that respect. He says "He who rules any people without their consent and against their will is cursed by God". This saying goes to show very clearly that the Islamic government is essentially democratic and that the choice of the ruler is left entirely to the people. Thus the ruler in Islam derives his authority from the nation. Again, in Islam, the people are not -like in communism - compelled to choose their government from one class.

In communist countries the constitution requires certain duties from the people towards the government, whereas the government is not responsible before the people. In Islam the government is fully responsible before the people. It is the nation which chooses the ruler, and thus he is responsible before his people who can question him when he goes wrong. This is evidenced from the following extracts of the famous speech which the first Caliph Abou-Bakr delivered when he was elected governor of the Muslims after the death of Prophet Muhammad. He said "I have been chosen by you to rule you, but perhaps I am not the best amongst you. I, therefore, request you to support me if I do good and to correct me if I go wrong. Obey me as long as I obey God. If I disobey God I cannot ask you to obey me

The tenth aspect in which Islam differs greatly from communism is that the Islamic law and all legislations in Islam are derived from the Islamic religion. Thus we see that the Muslim looks on the various Islamic legislations as sacred rules of Divine origin. He, therefore, willingly abides by them and believes that in so doing he is fulfilling a religious obligation.

In communism, the legislator is free to put forward any laws he believes - according to his own mentality - that will lead to the material progress of the communist society without any

regard to any moral or religious obligations. As a matter of fact, in communism all legislations are anti - religion.
In Islam obeying the law is considered a kind of worshipping God. We can thus imagine the great discipline in countries where the law has such respect. In that case the citizen is observing the law from within, and fear of God is the overwhelming control on his actions and behavior.
In summing up I should like to point out that Islam is a complete system of life of a Divine origin which has been very wisely formulated by the almighty God for the benefit of his creatures in this world and in the hereafter.
God, being All - Knowing, has chosen for mankind the best system which is capable of leading us to live a full and a happy life if we abide by the rules and regulations which God has put forward to us in the form of Islam.
I should like to conclude by hoping that the communist people will come back to the belief in God one day as did their great thinker Tolstoy. perhaps they may have gone away front religion due to the political, social and religious corruption which was prevailing in their part of the world and the great deviation of some of the religious teachings which made such teachings most un-comprehendible.
We do pray that this day will be very near. henceforth we shall hope that the world will enjoy the everlasting peace we all look forward to.

ISLAM VERSUS COMMUNISM Part:2

The fifth aspect in which Islam is quite alien to communism is the right of inheritance. Islam has reserved the right of inheritance to the children after the death of their parents, whereas in communism this right has been abolished. In fact, Islam has a very elaborate and accurate system of dividing the wealth of the fathers and mothers on their inheritants. It adds materially to the fair distribution of wealth on them. It does not confine it for instance to the elder son as in the British system of inheritance. Islam defines very carefully those who have the right to inherit. In certain cases they may include many relations other than the children of the father or the mother. Male and female, children and relations of the father or the mother have their own shares.

The Qur’an is very clear on these points. The communists argue against the right of inheritance saying why should we give the son of a rich man priority to the son of a poor man ?; the two should be equally treated so far as wealth is concerned. In the meantime Islam defends the right of inheritance in a more logic way. It says that, no doubt, the physical and mental qualities of man are inherited by his children. Some of these qualities may be good while others may be bad. It is, therefore, fair enough to allow his children to inherit his wealth as well.

According to Islam there is another point in favor of this right. Children are nothing but an extension to the life of the parents. If we abolish the right of inheritance we are automatically killing the incentive of the parents to work hard for their future life, the life of their children. In so doing the whole human society will be affected and the people will have less incentive to do more work if such a drastic communistic principle is adopted all over the world.

Islam has also safeguarded the destruction of wealth by spoilt, loose or insane sons by making it compulsory for such sons to be under control and to be cared for by proper guardians.

Full freedom of man is the sixth aspect of life which Islam strongly stresses, whereas it is lacking in communist countries. In those countries the system of government is essentially a dictatorship. Since the early days of human history mankind has been thriving hard to enjoy full freedom. In so doing man achieved great success and in many societies and countries in the world the people reached the goal of choosing their own form of government and their ruler. In communist countries and in the second half of the twentieth century man has been rendered a mere tool of production in a big factory. His main job in life is to eat, sleep and work, but not to think or express himself, the government is to think for him. Thus human dignity is destroyed.

According to communistic principles, the whole systems of press, radio, television, education, art, army, police, officials and laborers are all organs for the promotion of the official ideals of the government. Writers, thinkers and leading men in society are not allowed to express their opinions freely, nay, they are very careful about what they write and watch their lips when giving public lectures. Great scientific, social or literary works have to be submitted before publication to the government au-

thorities who will not allow the publishing of any book unless it advocates and praises the communistic principles.

In so doing the incentive of the people to think clearly and freely is killed. New ideas and reforms are thus suppressed and the march of human society towards perfection is stopped. It is a well known fact that freedom is a great energy which gives a momentous impetus to human progress.

The evidence of lack of freedom in those countries is that

we see and meet tourists from all countries who are free to visit

other countries for any length of time, whereas we hardly meet or see any tourists from communist countries. Again if those countries are really heaven on earth why their inhabitants are not allowed to visit other countries in orher to appreciate the so-called progress of their countries when compared with other countries where full freedom is enjoyed.

We should also like to cite in this respect that even visitors to communist countries are not allowed to see everything they would like to see. Instead they are kept under strict observation during their stay in those countries.

In fact communism is a system in which man is wholly absorbed, and is made to forget his personality, his religion and country. Communists are a great net who aim at making their leaders in Eastern Europe the masters of the whole world. Thus we look upon communism as a system of mental colonization of the whole world.

In Islam individual liberty and the power to think for yourself and make your own judgment on matters affecting you and the world at large is the basis of reward and punishment in this world and in the hereafter after death. Such freedom is enjoyed by man according to Islamic principles to so great an axtent that he is free to choose not only any system of life he likes better, but Islam went to the extent that every man is free to choose

any religion he believes in. The Holy Qur’an says "let be no compulsion in religion, right stands clear out of wrong".

Thus we see that Islam requires from men to think for themselves, to judge which is right and which is wrong and finally to exercise their free will in adopting the system which they believe is right for them. The Caliph Omar was quoted to say to the governor of Egypt who was rude with his subordinates "Since when you enslaved human beings in spite of the fact that they have been all borne free".

Freedom of speech which is one of the criterions of Islamic traditions is lacking under communistic rule. The Caliph Omar when once giving a sermon was corrected by a woman from the congregation. His answer to this challenge was not the prosecution of that woman but was a clear confession declared publicly when he made his famous statement "A woman corrected a wrong and Omar made a mistake

Freedom of thought is highly encouraged in Islam, so much so, that the Prophet of Islam said, "The best thing a man can do is the utterance of just words on the face of an unjust ruler". This is no doubt the basis of freedom. By this saying the Prophet of Islam, may peace be upon him and all the Prophets, has encouraged the whole world to revolt against any unfair and unjust acts of any ruler. Islam went still a further step in that respect. Prophet Muhammad said "He who sees anything wrong should try and correct it by his hand, if not possible he should try to correct it by his tongue, if not possible he should condemn it in his heart and that is the least he can do".

It is more interesting indeed to note in this respect that the Holy Qur’an went as far as to ask Muslims to leave any land when they are oppressed and their freedom is restricted. It says

"They said we were persecuted on earth. Was not the earth of God wide enough for you to immigrate to another part of it .". 

The seventh aspect of’ life in which Islam is quite different from communism is that the communistic principles do not allow any class to exist side by side with the Prolitaria. Karl Marx states "The struggle between classes leads eventually to the dictatorship of the working class. Such dictatorship will never exist except after a complete wiping out revolution. The Prolitaria will never be able to move or lift up themselves unless they wake up from the opium with which religions have poisoned them, and wipes out all classes of the society above them". In this respect Stalin has been also reported to have said "The liberation of the working class depends on the destroying revolution. The working class will not revolt unless we fill their hearts with grudge, despise and fear of the other classes, since grudge, despise and fear are the stimulating factors and the fuel of the revolution. When revolution starts we throw into it all such fuels one by one until it wipes out all our enemies

Islam does not accept such wicked principles. It forbids hatred and grudge between classes, individuals or even between nations. According to Islam all people are one international society and are all the sons and daughters of Adam and Eve, and thus they are all equal. Islam looks upon human society as one body if any one part of it aches the whole body will ache too.

It is a well known fact that all the principles of Islam deal very fairly and firmly with individuals on the terms of absolute equality and full fraternity and do not favor any one particular class. It should be remembered, however, that the existence of different classes is a natural phenomenon. It is in fact a social phenomenon which can never be abolished. Its case is exactly like the case of languages and nations.

Thus Islam, being a natural religion, accepts this natural and social phenomenon of the existence of different classes. But it should be mentioned here that in Islam the doors are wide open

between classes. Every one can, through his good deeds and noble acts reach the highest class, whether in political, social or economic spheres. We have cited, in our article about "Islam and Democracy" many cases where black slaves became through their zeal and hard work great leaders in many aspects of Islamic life including, ministers, leaders of armies, governors and heads of State.
